Tourist trap! Laura's Candies is one of the oldest candy shops in New Orleans, but it doesn't mean it's one of the best. In fact, I was very disappointed with my experience there. Over priced for mediocre sweets. Their "famous" pralines were gritty, the nuts were soft and old.
